I been living in Mobile for about 4 years now, and I want to say that Judy's is probably one of my favorite places to eat when I'm craving a good ole southern meal. They're always packed, but it the waiting time is not too bad, the food and service is worth it!! They don't over charge like most places here do. I love the vibes in there too, it feel's like back home. Super family oriented, but they also have a bar, that serves yummy drinks. This place checks ALL boxes, and I have never been disappointed!! Thank you for the yummy food and always taking care of yalls customers!! I hope Judy's place stays open Forever!! you got to try their country fried steak, ribeye, dessert, and spinach dip!! those have been my personal favs!!
Food was very good and at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere and friendly service! Had the ribeye steak, cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely
The food was excellent. I had chicken fingers fried. Crispy hot and delicious. My husband had Philly cheesesteak and a seafood gumbo. We will definitely comeback. Loved it!
First timer at Judy's Place and was not disappointed. Food and service were awesome. Judy's was very crowded (lunch) but, when the food is perfect, the service superior then having a small, relaxing wait isn't so bad.
Amazing home cooking. Meat and three at its best. Choosing what to eat is easy, because everything is good. Highly recommended. Great service too.
Wonderful home cooking and very accommodating for large groups We went on a Thursday night and everyone came in at different times and they got us all served and out on time
This is definitely a go to restaurant for Soul Food/Homestyle country cooking. The service staff is always respectful, although the customer base may not be. The food exceeds expectations, especially considering the decor is stuck between the mid 90's and early 2000's. The best fried pork chops and vegetables in the city!
Some of the best southern style home cooking you'll find anywhere around. I had the country fried chicken and my lady had the smothered hamburger steak, and both were amazing. This is my third time here and I'm always blown away. The banana pudding has to be the best on earth, yea it's that good. Food is also cheap, which is almost impossible to find nowadays. If you're traveling on 90 and looking for some no frills home cooking, you'll absolutely love this place. And if you're from Mobile and for some reason haven't been here, it's time to come check out Judy's place. One of my favorite places to eat anywhere :)
Great homestyle comfort food. Love the country fried chicken with white gravy. Great vegetables like field peas and greens. Usually very crowded but pretty quick service once seated.
I can't say enough good about this place. Very solid country food, especially the fried pork chop. And the nicest and most engaging staff. This was my first visit and they kept offering me food to try and checking up on me. Also a very clean and modern vibe. This is a top home-cooking spot and the folks here will earn your business.
